File/Save as… 

It saves data downloaded from the instrument

 

 

Instrument/New Session 

It starts a new session and deletes data downloaded to the PC: 

before closing,  you will be asked if you want to save data. 

It does not clear the mini-

datalogger memory:

 to do it, use the “Clear Memory Now” command in the instrument 

setup (see Instrument Settings at page 38).

 

 

Instrument/Connect 

It starts the instrument connection to the PC. Serial port settings 

are automatically made by the program and no operator’s action is required.

 

 

Instrument/Disconnect 

It disconnects the instrument at the end of the working session. 

This command leaves the serial port available for other applications.

 

 

Instrument/Read Instrument 

It reads the measurements detected by the instrument and 

displays them on the PC screen – see the related paragraph at page  41.

 

 

Instrument/Dump data 

It starts data dump from minidatalogger to PC

 

 

Instrument/Start Recording 

It starts data recording

 

 

Instrument/Stop Recording 

It stops data recording
