Do not allow the power cable to come into contact with hot surfaces, e.g. stove

hotplates, and ensure that the power cable is not trapped or squeezed.

Lay the mains cable so that it does not become a trip hazard.

When using an adapter plug or extension cord, these must comply with the valid

safety regulations. The speci

Þ

ed maximum voltage must not be exceeded.

Never pull on the cable when removing the plug from the socket, always hold the plug

in order to disconnect the appliance from the mains.

The appliance must not be used if the power cable is damaged or if the appliance

is otherwise damaged (droppage). Never try to open the appliance yourself or
replace the power cable. Only allow repairs on the appliance to be carried out by
a professional workshop/in the service centre. Improper repairs could result in
signi

Þ

 cant hazards for the user.

CAUTION! Danger to life! Never immerse the slow cooker in

water or other liquids. If the slow cooker has come into contact
with water or other liquids, there is a risk of electric shock.
Immediately disconnect the mains plug!

The appliance must not be exposed to dripping or spray water.

The appliance must not be used in wetrooms (e.g. bathroom) or rooms with a high

amount of dust.

For cleaning, switch off the appliance, remove the mains plug and allow to cool down

completely.

The appliance is equipped with plastic feet.  As the base surfaces are made of diverse

materials and are treated with diverse care products, it cannot be entirely ruled out
that some of these materials contain components, which could attack and soften the
feet. If necessary, place a non-slip base under the feet.

In case of a thunder storm, appliances connected to the mains could be damaged,

therefore always disconnect the mains plug from the socket during a thunder storm.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Instructions for use

Ensure that the socket is near the appliance and can be reached without any

dif

Þ

 culties.

Place the appliance on a stable, even and heat-resistant work surface with at least

20cm distance to other items. The appliance must be not be obstructed upwards.
