CHANGING THE MENU SET-
TINGS

CHANGING THE MENU SETTINGS

1. Press the P button to enter the menu;
2. Turn the selection knob until the        light

comes on;

3. Press the               button to select the func-

tion. The OK light flashes;

4. Press the               button to start rinsing (or

the             button to cancel the operation).
The light flashes         . 

5. After rinsing, the appliance automatically exits

the menu and is ready to make coffee. 

NB! 

Unlike automatic rinsing, manual rin-

sing can be interrupted at any moment by pres-
sing the             button. 

Descaling 

1. Press the P button to enter the menu;
2. Turn the selection knob until the light comes

on;

3. Press the        button to select the function (or

the           button to exit the menu); The OK
light flashes             ;

4. Perform descaling as described in the section

"Descaling" (page 35). 

Setting the temperature

1. Press the P button to enter the menu;
2. Turn the selection knob until the    light comes

on;

3. Press the           button to select the function

(or the            button to exit the menu);

4. Turn the selection knob until the lights corre-

sponding to the required temperature come
on:

LOW        ;
MEDIUM              ;
HIGH                    ;
5. Press the            button to confirm the selec-

tion (or the             button to cancel the ope-
ration);

6. Press the button             to exit the menu.

Auto-Off

1. Press the P button to enter the menu;
2. Turn the selection knob until the     light

comes on;

3. Press the            button to select the function

(or the            button to exit the menu);

4.  Turn the selection knob until the lights corre-

sponding to the number of hours before the
appliance goes off automatically come on:
1 HOUR         ;
2 HOURS              ;
3 HOURS                   ;   

5. Press the             button to confirm the selec-

tion (or the             button to cancel the ope-
ration);

6. Press the              button to exit the menu.

Setting water hardness

1

Press the P button to enter the menu; 

2. Turn the selection knob until the      light

comes on;

3. Press the              button to select the func-

tion (or the              button to exit the menu);

4. Turn the knob until the water hardness mea-

sured using the indicator strip is displayed
(see section "Setting water hardness" on page
36);

5. Press the             button to confirm the selec-

tion (or the              button to cancel the ope-
ration);

Resetting factory default values
(reset)

The OK light flashes;

4. Press the           button again to restore the

original settings.

Installing the filter

Certain models are provided with a water softener
filter. If this is not the case with your model, you
are recommended to purchase one from an autho-
rised technical service centre.
