Your toaster features two sections, with independent operation.
The large toasting slot is ideal for toasting large slices of bread, muffins, etc.

I N S T R U C T I O N S F O R U S E
1.
Ensure control lever (
A
) is raised
2.
Connect the appliance to a suitable power
point: the toaster is now powered.
3.
Place the slices of bread in the toasting slots (B
or C).
4.
Turn the browning control dial (G),
corresponding to the toasting section used, to
one of the possible positions (1= lighter, 7 =
darker).
5.
Press down control lever (
A
) until it locks.
(Note: if the appliance is not connected to the
mains power, the lever will not click into place.)
6.
Once the chosen level of browning has been
reached, the toast will automatically rise ready
for removal from the slots (
B
or C).
7.
If the first slices are not browned sufficiently,
select a higher setting next time
Using the Defrost button
(small toasting slot
section only)
1. To toast frozen bread, place in the toasting slots
(C)
2. Turn the browning control dial (
D
) to required
setting (1= lightest, 7 = darkest)
3. Press down control lever (
A
) until it locks
4. Press the “Defrost Button” (
I
). The “Defrost Light”
will remain on while the defrost function is in
use, and toasting time will be automatically
extended
Using the Reheat Button: (small toasting slot
section only)
Press down control lever (
A
) and press the reheat
button (
H
). The reheat light will remain on whilst
the reheat function is in use. Please note that this is
a fixed reheat time which cannot be adjusted by
the browning control.
Using the toast one side only function button
(large toasting slot section only)
1. Place the slice of bread in the large toasting
slot (B).
2. Turn the browning control dial to the desired
position. (Normally it is better to select one
position lower than for toasting on both sides.
3. Press the control lever (A) down until it clicks
into place.
4. Press the toast one side only function button.
The toast one side only light will stay on while
this function is active.
5. When the toasting time has elapsed, the toast
will pop up automatically.
N.B.: To prepare muffins, slice them in half and
place them in the large toasting slot, with the cut
sides facing outwards.
Using the Stop/Cancel Button
(for both sections)
Should you want to interrupt the toasting process,
simply press the stop/cancel button (
F
) at any
time.
Warning:
Do not force control lever (
A
) to eject
toast etc. Always use the stop/cancel button (
F
) to
eject toast.
High - Rise Facility: (for both sections)
To remove smaller slices of bread and items such
as muffins, teacakes, crumpets and bagels, the
control lever (
A
) can be lifted approximately
20mm above the strating position at the end of the
toasting cycle.
Crumb tray
The crumb tray (
D
) should be emptied regularly as
a build-up of crumbs could be a potential fire
hazard. After toasting, allow the toaster to cool
down thoroughly, then slide out the crumb tray (
D
)
and empty.
