Installing the Battery
1. Place the battery into its slot until it clicks into place.
2. Connect the battery cable to its connector on the system board.
3. Install the base cover.

Removing the Hard Disk Drive
1. Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer

2. Remove :
a) base cover
b) battery
3. Lift the hard drive assembly in an upward direction to release it from its compartment on the computer.
4. Lift and remove the hard drive from the computer.
5. Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the hard drive assembly.
6. Lift and remove the hard drive from the hard drive assembly.
Installing the Hard Disk Drive
1. Place the hard drive assembly into its slot on the computer.
2. Install :
a) battery
