Follow the instructions in "
Preparing to Work Inside the Computer
."
2.
Remove the
keyboard
.
3.
Remove the
display assembly
.
4.
Remove the
mircoprocesser thermal-cooling assembly
.
5.
Remove the
video card
.
6.
Remove the 13 M2.5 x 12-mm screws from the bottom of the computer.
7.
Remove the two M2.5 x 4-mm screws from the top of the palm rest.
CAUTION:
Before performing the following procedures, read the safety instructions in your
System Information Guide

NOTICE:
To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such
as the back panel) on the computer.
NOTICE:
You must remove the display assembly before you remove the palm rest; the display hinges pass through the back of the palm rest.
