1.
Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
NOTE: The 1.8 inch uSATA SSDs are hot swappable only with software RAID S130.
2.
If your system does not support software RAID S130, turn off your system.
Steps
1.
If an SSD blank is installed in the SSD slot, remove it.
2.
Install the SSD in the SSD carrier.
3.
Press the release button on the front of the SSD carrier, and open the SSD carrier handle.
4.
Insert the SSD carrier into the SSD slot until the carrier connects with the backplane.
5.
Close the SSD carrier handle to lock the SSD in place.
