Installing the docking board

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

About this task

The figure indicates the location of the docking board and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps

1. Connect the docking board cable to the connector.

NOTE: 

Slide the cable through the connector clips, and release the latch.

2. Align the docking board and replace the five (M2x5) screws that secure the docking board to the system chassis.
3. Replace the adhesive tape to secure the docking board to the system chassis.
