Prerequisites

Remove the

base cover

Remove the

battery

Remove the

display assembly

Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 2 in “

Removing the display panel

”.

Procedure

CAUTION: Place the display-panel assembly on a soft and clean surface to
avoid scratching the display.

Place the display-panel assembly face down on a flat surface.

Remove the screw that secures the sensor board to the display panel.

Peel off the tape that secures the sensor-board cable to the sensor board.

Open the latch to disconnect the sensor-board cable from the sensor board.
