The replacement BOSS card includes two M.2 modules. You must remove these two
modules so you can later migrate the M.2 modules on the faulted BOSS card to the
replacement BOSS card.

Before you begin

Follow all safety guidelines.
Procedure

1. Unpack the replacement BOSS card.

2. Unfasten the screw that secures the M.2 module on the BOSS card.

3. Lift the M.2 module away from the BOSS card.

Note

The M.2 modules will be installed on the faulted BOSS card at completion of the
replacement procedure.
