Remove the internal USB memory key

NOTE:
The position of the USB 3.0 module may vary depending on the configuration of your
system.
NOTE:
Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from the system board. Route these cables
properly when you replace them to prevent them from being pinched or crimped.
Steps
1
Disconnect the USB cable from the internal USB port, and power cable from the backplane 3 power connector on the system board.

Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the screw on the USB 3.0 module.

Slide the USB 3.0 module out of the system.

Steps
1
Route the power and the USB cables on the USB 3.0 module through the USB 3.0 module slot on the front panel.

Insert the USB 3.0 module into the slot on the front panel.

Align the screw on the module with the screw hole on the system.

Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, tighten the screw to secure the module to the system.

Route and connect the USB cable to internal USB port and power cable to the backplane 3 power connector on the system board. To

section.
