Assembling the elevation drive (EMO)
WARNING!
Danger of injury by heavy parts!
When assembling the EMO, heavy parts can cause serious hand injuries.
Use the help of a second person to assemble the EMO.
Wear safety gloves.
1.
Fasten the EMO to both sides of the rotating head with one
bolt M14x45 and one plain bearing bushing per side.
Tightening torque: 195 Nm
2.
Use a battery pack (12 to 26 V) to extend the EMO, until the
bore in the joint head of the EMO is exactly in line with the bore
in the toggle lever of the central tube.
3.
Fasten the EMO to the toggle lever with bolt M20x110,
washers and nut M20.
The cable outlet on the EMO points towards the rotating head.
Tightening torque: 200 Nm
4.
Remove the tightening strap and the square timber
from the toggle lever.

Remove the lifting tackle from the base frame.

Assembly of energy converter 6 (EC-6)
A locking plate is bolted to the bottom side of the rotating head,
to protect the cables during assembly.
1.
Untighten the bolt M8x12 on the locking plate on the bottom
side of the rotating head and take out all cables. Then, tighten
the bolt again.
2.
Fasten the EC-6 with two bolts M8x12 and washer M8 to the
side of the rotating head.
Tightening torque: 19 Nm
