Making connections to different
holes is not good practice in
terms of safety as it can damage
the gas and electrical system.

Installing the appliance
1. Prepare the counter according to the
installation dimensions in the manual.
2. Remove burners, burner caps and grills
on the hob from the appliance.
3. Turning the hob upside down, place it on
a flat surface.
4. In order to avoid foreign substances and
liquids penetrating between the hob and
the counter, please apply the putty
supplied in the package on the contours
of the lower housing of the hob, making
sure that the putty does not overlap.
5. Place the hob onto the counter so that the
control buttons will face forwards.
6. Secure your hob to the counter by using
the clamp and the screws supplied.
(wooden spacers may be required).
Caution:
Never use a naked
flame to check for gas leaks
Leakage control at the connection point

Ensure that the control knobs on the hob
are in the OFF position.

Open the valve on the Gas bottle.
x
Using a small paint brush, apply some
soapy water to all the connections.
x
If there is a leak, bubbles will appear.
x
If this happens, close the valve on the gas
bottle.
x
Check and tighten the connections
immediately.
x
Repeat the procedure to ensure that there
are no further leaks.
Manifold protection plug
Manifold protector plug removal:
The manifold protection plug is inserted into
the manifold at factory level in order to
protect the manifold from being
contaminated with debris. The manifold
protection plug must be removed when the
product is installed by the gas installer.
The red manifold protection plug can be
removed from the manifold by grabbing it
with your fingers or if necessary with the aid
of a small pair of pliers.
