Bluetooth Connectivity

Make sure Bluetooth is active on the device you want to stream music from.
•
Go to the Bluetooth menu and search for the devices in your surroundings. When you see
•
“DEEPTIME ISS”, simply tap on it to pair your Ionic Sound System.
•
Bear in mind, your ISS’s Bluetooth connection is discoverable (visible) for 15 minutes since
ISS is turned on (i.e. plugged in). If your phone, tablet, PC or laptop is unable to detect
your ISS, please make sure you are within the range of 10 meters, alternatively, try to reset
your ISS by unplugging from the power source and plugging it back again. The Bluetooth
visibility is limited to avoid unwanted connections (e.g. your neighbour’s kids).

Successful connectivity is indicated by LED blinking for three seconds.
•
ISS allows automatic pairing function with devices that have been already paired. Your
streaming device connects automatically if it is within the Bluetooth range. (Please make sure
your device supports the automatic pairing function. Some devices may not support
automatic pairing.)

To enhance your convenience, ISS supports multi-connection. Therefore, you can connect up
to 2 bluetooth devices to your audio system. Active is always the last device on which you
pressed PLAY to stream your music. If you press PLAY on another device that is already
or newly connected to your ISS, the device becomes the new active streamer. When switching
between the streaming devices, the LEDs always indicate this change by flashing for three
seconds.
Audio Input (Aux/Optical)

The integrated toslink receiver allows two types of connection:
•
Analogue - by using 3.5 jack - jack connection cable
•
Digital - by using 3.5 jack - toslink fibre optic cable
•
Both cables are part of the packaging.
•
Once you connect either of the cables to your subwoofer and press play on your streaming
device the system automatically detects the signal and starts to play your tune.
•
By default, ISS prioritises Bluetooth connection. To allow playing your music via cable
connection, please make sure your Bluetooth streaming is turned off. To do that simply press
PAUSE on your Bluetooth device. The ISS will take about 2-3 seconds before it automatically
switches the input source from Bluetooth to cable connection.
