1. The salt contai ner must only be refil led when the salt warning light in the control panel comes on.
Depending on how well the salt dissolve s, the salt warning light may still be on even though the
salt container is filled.
If there is no salt w arning light in the con trol panel (for some Mode ls),you can estim ate when to f ill
the salt into the softener by the cycles that the dishwasher has run.
2. I f salt has spilled, run a soak or qu ick prog ram to r emo ve it.
Always u se the salt intended for dish washer use.
The salt co ntain er is located beneath the lowe r basket and sh ould be filled as explained
in t he foll owing:

Rinse Aid Dispenser
Function of Rinse Aid
Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, a s pot and streak free drying.
Warning!
Only use branded rinse aid for dishwasher. Never fill the rinse aid dis penser with any other substances
(e.g. Di shwasher cleaning agent, liquid detergent). Th is would damage the app liance.

A After the low er basket has been removed, unscrew and remove the cap from the salt container.
B Pl ace the end of the funnel (supplied) into the hole and introduce about 1.5kg of di shwasher salt.

F Imm ediat ely aft er f illing the salt into the salt container, a washing program should be started

The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent wa ter from formi ng droplets on your di shes, which can
leave spots and streaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to roll off the dish es. Your dishwasher is
designed to use liquid ri nse aids. Th e rinse aid d ispenser is located insid e, on the door and next to the detergent
dispenser.
To fill the dispe nser, open the cap and pou r the rinse aid into the dispenser until the level indicator turns comple tely
black. The volume of the rinse aid c ontainer is about 110ml.
