You observe that.

Possible causes

The hob has stopped working
and “­” is displayed also an aud­
able beep is heard

The hob has detected an
overflow or object covering
the controls.

Ensure the controls are clean
and dry and remove any ob­
jects that cover them

A series of small dashes appears
across  the display or “F7”

The electronic circuits have
over heated

Check the ventillation for the
appliance is in line with this
guide. 

After turning on a zone the dis­
play continues to flash

The cookware used is either
too small for the zone or is
unsuitable for induction
cooking.

Use correct pan size for zone
enssuring it is compatable
with induction (ferrous)

The pans make a noise during
cooking and the hob produces a
cclicking noise

This is normal for some types
of cookware.  This is caused
by the transfer of power from
the hob to the cookware

Nothing.  There is no risk to
either the hob or cookware

The fans continue to run at the
end of cooking

The fan is cooling the elec­
tronics and will cut out auto­

to the appliance and switch

The boost function will “bor­
row” power from its adjacent
zone (front to back) while
using boost.

induction.  it is designed to

of power output.
