Snowdrop/Roof Parapet Mounting
Your mounting kit should come with a set of detailed specific instructions. Directions here are for
quick reference only.

The Node Casting (item 7) has been designed
with 4 holes equi-spaced on 4”(108mm) Pitch
Circle Diameter (PCD).
Important:
This product is likely to be installed
at high level. Ensure all local safety
regulations are adhered to during
installation. If possible, follow the
procedure until installation of the dome at
ground level, to minimise risk.
Note:
The Node Casting (item 7) is designed
with ‘punch out’ holes in the base to
allow the cable to exit the back of the
casting. If this installation technique is
used, the Gland should be sealed to
prevent water ingress.

The Bracket Assembly (item 4)
is a heavy item and should be
supported adequately during
installation.
Pole Installation only
2.
The Node Casting (item 7) is
designed with 4 holes
equi-spaced on 4”(108mm)
Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) to
allow direct installation on the
end of the pole. Use suitable
¼”(M6) fixings to fasten the Node
Casting to the pole.
Note:
Dedicated Micros does not supply these
fittings, due to the variation in materials
and thickness found on site.
Parapet installation only

Drill 4 x

” (Ø7mm) dia. holes
(a) at the screw positions using
the Mode Casting (item 2) as a
guide. Insert 4 x ¼”(M6) plugs
into the holes and mount the
Node Casting using suitable
fixing screws.
Note:
Dedicated Micros does not supply these
fittings, due to the variation in materials
and thickness found on site.
3.
Fasten the End Cap Assembly
(item 6) to the Snowdrop
Bracket Welded Assembly
(item 4) using screws (item 1),
spring washers (item 2) and flat
washers (item 3) provided.
4.
Connect the cable from the
network to the 3 way and 4 way
connector blocks as detailed
in the ‘Electrical Connections’
section of this manual.
