If a malfunction is displayed on the charger
Temporarily unplug the AC cable and the charger cable, and check for
damaged insulation.
If the charger cable is damaged, a short circuit between the terminals may
damage the battery.
Before checking if the same malfunction is displayed when charging another
good battery, be sure to check the charger cable for any damages.
Do not keep the power cable and the charger cable connected during a
malfunction. The current may continue to flow abnormally, damaging the
battery or the charger. Once you have checked the blinking pattern of the
malfunction indicator lamp, unplug the power cable, and remove the charger
cable from the battery.
