PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING
After booting up the purity of the oxygen will be up to 90% for the first 5
minutes.
The nasal oxygen tube used by patients needs to be cleaned thoroughly and
sterilized at regular intervals for multiple or repeated use.
The standard sanitary measures of the parts of the oxygen concentrator are
as follows -
i. Humidification Bottle - needs to be cleaned and sterilized every 2 to 3 days
ii. Air Intake Filtering Foam -needs to be cleaned and sterilized after every 100
hours of use.
iii. Depending on the use of the product and the environmental conditions like
dust and dirt, it is recommended to frequently clean and replace the parts to
ensure the optimum functioning of your device.
The water used in the humidification bottle should ideally be distilled or
purified cold water. Please do not fill it with untreated tap water. The
humidification water bottle should ideally be cleaned and sterilized every 2 -3
days of usage. In warmer climatic conditions and monsoon season it is
recommended to clean and sterilize the bottle daily. While not in use please
keep the bottle dry and empty.
While replacing your nasal oxygen tube, please replace it with a genuine one
of the same specifications that comes with your device. Please contact your
manufacturer for genuine replaceable parts for your oxygen concentrator.
Do not discard the humidification bottle, nasal oxygen tube, mask or any other
part of your device at any random place. Always use the nearest waste
disposal mechanism available.
Always use a suitable humidification bottle which fits perfectly in the machine.
Do not use it under any ill fitted (too tight/too loose) situation. (Kindly refer to
the diagram on page 8 & 9 for humidification bottle setup).
Always pay attention while adding water to the humidification bottle. The
maximum and the minimum water level has been marked and labelled clearly
on the bottle to make the measurements convenient.
