The following are instructions for using Campbell Sci-
entific’s SCWin (Short Cut) program to read the EC-5
soil moisture sensor.
1. Download EchoCSI.zip from http://www.deca-
gon.com/appnotes/EchoCSIappnote.pdf.
2. Unzip the folder EchoCSI.zip.
3. Locate the file containing SCWin.exe. It should be
in C:\Program Files\Campbellsci\SCWin. Place the
