DDC 1553 CARD MANAGER FOR WINDOWS NT

Once you have installed the hardware and software, you are now ready
to configure the device. Device configuration is performed through the
use of the

DDC 1553 Card Manager

located in the

Windows Control

Panel

. The following are basic instructions to configure a card in

Windows NT.

The

DDC 1553 Card Manager

is used to set a device number (logical

number) for the card you are using. This number is used by the RTL to
identify the card. By default an installed card will have a Device number
of none. The user must select a number from 0 to 31.

1) Turn on the computer.

2) Open the Windows Control Panel by clicking on the

Start

button.

Then click on the

Settings

option. Finally, click on

Control Panel

.

3) Double-Click on the

screen image above).
