Download the dCS Vivaldi 2.0 App from the App Store to your iPad / iPhone / iPod and install it.

•

Connect the Upsampler’s

Network

interface to the Ethernet network.

•

Select the Upsampler’s

Network

input.

Open the Upsampler’s Menu and select

Settings > Sync Mode > Master Mode

. (This is

the basic setup without a Master Clock.)

Connect the Upsampler’s

AES1+2

output (or

AES1

) to the Vivaldi DAC’s

AES3+4

input

(or

AES3

), as this input will accept tunnel commands from the Upsampler. (Also see

page

Open the DAC’s Menu and select

Settings > Sync Mode > Audio

. (This is the basic

setup without a Master Clock.)

•

Connect the control device (e.g. iPad) to the network.

•

Launch

the

dCS

Vivaldi 2.0 App.

•

The system will search for compatible Vivaldi Upsamplers. When the Device list appears, tap the

Upsampler icon in the zone you want to use.

•

Tap

Configure

to change the Upsampler’s settings, find information about the unit or use the test

features. Tap

Preferences

to optimise the unit for your use. You can add Spotify or Tidal to your

Favourites on the

Preferences

page.
