Assembly Instructions 
DC-Tri Commuter 2.3

Remove contents from box. Remove the foam separators that protect the 
components from damage during shipping. Because the trike was 95 percent 
assembled and packed at the factory, there should not be any problems, even if 
the box has a few scars or dents. 

M AKE SURE POW ER SW ITCH IS TURNED “OFF” BEFORE 
CONDUCTING ANY ASSEM BLY OR M AINTENANCE PROCEDURES. 

Estimated Assembly and Set-Up Time 

Dc-tri recommends assembly by an adult. 
Allow up to 10 minutes for assembly, not including initial charge time. 
Allow up to 6 hours for charge  
 

Tools Required 

Small adjustable spanner and Allen Key 

The DC-Tri should arrive in 3 completed part and only the headset assembly components 
require assembly (Front Wheel Assembly, Frame Assembly & Headset Assembly. 

Before you begin – Remove Battery and Charger from Box and place on charge (Initial 
Charge – 6 Hours) 4-hour charge thereafter if battery is empty.

Remove all parts from the box - check that you have been provided with the 
following parts. 

Front Wheel Assembly -Front Wheel, Rim, Motor Handlebars (fitted with grips, 
controller, handbrake lever, bell & throttle) & Cables 

Frame Assembly - Frame complete with floor & rear wheels, Battery Holder Cradle & 
Battery 

Headset Assembly – Headset, bearing, split ring, cap, spacer, Headset cap M5 x 30 cap 
screw
