iLM8 User Manual 

Faults

 

 
Although your iLM8 will provide you with years of trouble free service, occasionally problems may 
occur. Below is a listing of the most common fault conditions. 
 
No Sync: AES sync has been lost. Please check the source equipment and all cable connections. 
Ensure that iLM8 is operating in the proper input mode for your application and is looking for the source 
audio on the correct port. 
 
CRC Error: iLM8 has encountered a CRC error in the audio stream. 
 
Validity Error: iLM8 has encountered a validity error with the audio stream. 
 
Bi-phase Error: iLM8 has encountered a bi-phase error with the audio stream. 
 
No Parity Error: iLM8 has encountered a parity error with the audio stream.
