Polar Mount Adjustment
Adjusting a polar mount to track the geostationary satellite arc can be challenging.
We use the following procedure to setup a polarm mount.
1. Insure that the antenna kingpost or mounting pole is vertical.
2. Set the mount’s declination angle to the value specified in the table given the antenna
latitude.
3. Set the lattitude angle to the value specified in table 3.3 xx.
4. In steps that follow, the antenna is aligned with geostationary satellites and the antenna
Latitude and East-West Bearing angles are adjusted. If the antenna can receive signals
