5’ Fireplace - Log Installation - continued

 

  Install Log #5 as shown below.  Place the wider end of the log #5 on charred portion of Log #1.  Log #5 spans the 

burner and the thinner, charred end is angled to the left and rests on the media tray.

 

 

 

 

NOTE

:

 

When

 

a

 

log

 

placement

 

requires

 

the

 

log

 

to

 

span

 

the

 

burner,

 

make

 

sure

 

the

 

part

 

of

 

the

 

log

 

above

 

the

 

burner

 

is

 

not

 

directly

 

above

 

a

 

cluster

 

of

 

holes

 

(see

 

illustration

 

below).

 

 

  Install log #8 as shown below.  The pin on log #2 inserts into the hole on the bottom of log #8.  The left end rests 

on log #7 (no pin).  Log #8 spans the burner (see below). 

 

 

 

  Install log #3 as shown below.  The left pin on log #2 inserts into the hole on the bottom of log #3.  The thicker end 

of the log rests on the media tray.  Log #3 spans the burner and angles to the left (see below).
