8.3 How to set the AI Auto-Tracking function by the
OSD Menu
The PTC-285NDI allows you to use the remote controller to open the OSD -
menu for setting the AI Auto-Tracking function. Please follow the steps below
to set the AI Auto-Tracking related settings.
1. At first, please press the “Menu” button from the remote controller
to open the PTC-285NDI OSD menu on the connected monitor.
2. After that, please use the micro joystick to select “Tracking
Config>Tracking” in order to turn on or turn off the AI Auto-Tracking function.
Moreover, you can use the micro joystick to select “Tracking Config>Tracking
Area” to select your desired Auto-Tracking mode from “Presenter” Mode or
“Zone” Mode. You can also use the micro joystick to select “Tracking
Config>Figure Size” to select your desired automatic zooming settings from
“Full”, “Half Body” and “Close Up”.
8.4 How to set the AI Auto-Tracking (Presenter
Mode) by the Web UI
You can also use the PTC-285NDI Web UI to set the AI Auto-Tracking function.
Please follow the steps below to set the Auto-Tracking function by the Web UI.
1. The factory default of the PTC-285NDI is the DHCP mode. Please connect
your PTC-285NDI and laptop or PC to a router and please make sure that they
are set within the same IP range.
2. Please use Datavideo DVIP Network Configuration Tool to get the IP address
of your PTC-285NDI and then please use the web browser to open the PTC-
285NDI Web UI. After that, please click the “AT” option and then you can see
that there are two tabs including “Presenter” and “Zone”. You can select
“Current Location” or “Preset 1” from the drop-down menu of the “Presenter”
tab to be the initial position of the camera lens for Auto-Tracking. The “Auto
Zoom” and “Auto Tilt” are checked by default. You can also set the automatic
zooming level of the camera lens by selecting “Full”, “Half Body” or “Close Up”
from the “Figure Size” option.
