*Please Note:
Because of the way Windows operating systems manage USB controllers, the only way to be absolutely
sure you are on the same controller is to use a powered USB hub.
Channel Selection
For multiple instruments to properly synchronize the following conditions must be met.
If the number of analog channels enabled for any single device is less than 2 (including zero): The sum of analog plus
digital channels per device must be equal.*
If the number of analog channels enabled for any single device is greater than or equal to 2: The sum of analog
channels per device and the sum of digital channels per device must be equal.*
*One or more digital ports configured as a discrete input counts as one digital channel. The Rate and Count inputs
count as one digital channel each. Analog channel configuration (V, mV, TC) is irrelevant.
Devices are listed in the Channel Selection grid in alpha-numeric order of the serial numbers of the device. Devices
must be connected to the USB hub before starting WinDaq.
