The capacitors on an energizer PCA can be charged; and can potentially give a dangerous electric shock. Before
opening an energizer case, the battery must be disconnected (at the white connector end). After opening an energizer,
the discharge process MUST first be performed before touching any components, including the transformer.
Servicing of these components is only to be performed by qualified personnel.
What you should wear (as a service agent during servicing).
These are compliant with regional standards.
Gloves
Industrial quality safety gloves to mitigate the risk of injury to your hands (e.g. to prevent
cuts from burrs or sharp edges; protect you from electrical discharge and to keep hands clean
from handling metal coatings).
Safety Glasses
Safety plastic glasses for use if operating any machinery that is pneumatic or air driven (e.g.
air impact wrenches). This is to mitigate the risk of injury to the eyes.
