Continuous Mode

: when enabled, Rhino-NET™ always accepts data on the port if Scan 

Always On is enabled. Continuous Mode overrides Scan Timeout. 
 

Keyboard Emulation

: if enabled all scanned data are transformed into keyboard events and 

can therefore be displayed and saved to a file as if input from the terminal keyboard. 
 

Soft Trigger

: when enabled, gives control of Rhino-NET™ data reception to the application 

software. 
 

Scan Always On

: enables the Rhino-NET™ data reception independently from the 

application software. 
 
 

Default Settings 

The following tables contain the default values for the major scanner setup parameters, 
according to the type of scan engine mounted on the peripheral device connected to the 
terminal. For a complete list of parameters and of their configuration procedures, please refer 
to the SDK Help file on the CD-ROM.
