Ensure that the Scanner-
Scale is powered-on (the
green top LED and orange
>0< button will be lit or
flashing).
Return the wire lift handle
to its down position and
replace the Top Platter. (If
the Top Platter does not
seat correctly, recheck to
see that the lift handle is
fully retracted.)
After ensuring the platter
is fully seated, press &
release the flashing >0<
button
once
. Wait for the
scanner to sound two
beeps. (The >0< button
will continue to flash.)
Place 20 lbs. of certified
weights on the platter and
press & release the >0<
button
once
. The scanner
will emit a trill sound upon
registering the weight.
Remove the weights from
the platter and press &
release the >0< button
once
to complete the calibration
sequence. The scanner will
reset and the >0< button
will light steadily.
Remove the Top Platter
from the scanner-scale,
and locate the switch
door.
Open the calibration door
cover by pushing back
towards the optics
chassis. (It may be
necessary to push the
wire lift handle into the
upright position to access
the cover.)
Use your finger to reach
inside the calibration bay,
locate the small plunger
switch and press &
release it
once
. The
scanner will issue seven
rapid beeps and the >0<
button will begin to flash.
