LaneHawk™ 5000
Introduction
These instructions provide basic connection and usage information for the
LaneHawk 5000 camera system that operates in a Bottom of Basket (BoB) loss
prevention system.
The 5000 system can be set up the same way as the previous LaneHawk 4000
model, but also offers some different options.
Standard LaneHawk Server Setup
The standard setup of the LaneHawk 5000 uses a back office server to control
image comparisons, network management, and POS interfacing. The LaneHawk
5000 is backwards-compatible with systems set up for the LaneHawk 4000

, so
it can be set up in this manner.
