Quick Reference Guide

Setting Up the Reader

Follow the steps below to connect and get your reader up 
and communicating with its host.

1.

Configure the Base Station starting on this 
page.

2.

Charge the Batteries (see page 8).

3.

Link to the Base Station (see page 13).

4.

Select the Interface Type (see page 15).

5.

Configure other settings if desired starting on 
page 28 (optional, depends on settings needed).

Configure the Base Station 

The base charger/station may be configured in desk 
application to hold the reader in two different positions, 
either a horizontal or standing position, in order to provide 
the most comfortable use depending on needs.
