2.2 OPENING THE DEVICE

Before installing the DP1200 or during normal maintenance, it is necessary to open it
by unscrewing the four cover screws as shown in the figure below:

WARNING

The decoder must be disconnected from the power supply during
this operation.

It is possible to perform the following operations:

•

Select the desired main serial interface type. (see "Main Interface Selection"
under paragraph 2.4.3)

•

Set the multiplexer address selection on the rotary switches if the main serial
interface is RS485 Half-Duplex. (see "RS485 Half-Duplex Interface" under
paragraph 2.4.3)

•

Proceed with the cable connections. (see paragraph 2.4)
