2.12 - Installation

RS232 Interface

The serial interface is used in this case for point to point connections; it
handles communication with the host computer and allows both transmission
of code data and the configuration of the decoder.

The terminals of the external cable must be connected to the following pins
of connector J1 (see figure 2.10) for RS232 interface connection:
