Offener Langzeitverbandschuh
Ihr Arzt hat Ihnen einen offenen Langzeitverbandschuh verschrieben. Der OPTIMA Free
Langzeitverbandschuh dient ausschließlich der Druckumverteilung und dem Schutz
des betroffenen Fußes.
> Das Produkt soll nur nach ärztlicher Verordnung ausgehändigt werden. Die Anpassung
sollte ausschließlich von Fachpersonal erfolgen.
> Die mehrschichtige Einlagesohle »OPTIMA Insole 3 × 3« darf ausschließlich durch
Fachpersonal bearbeitet oder verändert werden.
> Der OPTIMA Free Langzeitverbandschuh darf nur in Kombination mit dem OPTIMA
Sohlensystem oder einer individuell diabetesadaptierten Fußbettung verwendet werden.
> Bei unsachgemäßer Handhabung des Produkts sind die Funktion und ein optimaler
Schutz nicht mehr gewährleistet.
Anlegen des Langzeitverbandschuhs:
1. Zur Vermeidung von Infektionen müssen vor dem Anlegen des OPTIMA Free
Langzeitverbandschuhs immer alle offenen Wunden keimfrei abgedeckt werden.
2. Das Tragen von Verbandstoffen oder Socken wird empfohlen.
3. Achten Sie beim Anlegen des Langzeitverbandschuhs darauf, dass die Ferse soweit wie
möglich in der Fersenkappe positioniert wird.
4. Beim Schließen der Klettbänder ist darauf zu achten, dass diese ohne Druck und nicht
überkreuzt geschlossen werden. Schließen Sie zuerst das Klettband über dem Rist,
dann die übrigen Klettbänder wie in Bild 1 nummeriert.
Achtung:
Zu fest geschlossene Klettbänder können die Blutzirkulation Ihres Fußes
beeinträchtigen!

Open wound care shoe
Your doctor has prescribed you a open wound care shoe. The OPTIMA Free wound care
shoe is solely intended to relieve pressure from and protect the affected foot.
> The product should only be delivered in response to a doctor

s prescription. It should
only be fitted by specialized staff.
> The multilayer insole »OPTIMA Insole 3 × 3« may only be adjusted or modified by
specialized staff.
> The OPTIMA Free wound care shoe may only be used in conjunction with the OPTIMA
sole system or an individual diabetes-compliant foot bed.
> If the product is improperly treated, its function and optimum protection can no longer
be ensured.
Putting on the wound care shoe:
1. To avoid infections, always cover all open wounds aseptically before donning the
OPTIMA Free wound care shoe.
2. It is advisable to wear dressings or socks.
3. When putting on the wound care shoe, ensure that you position the heel as far as it will
go into the heel cap.
4. When you close the hook and loop straps, ensure that you close them without pressure
and without crossing them. First close the hook and loop strap over the instep, then the
other hook and loop straps as numbered in Fig. 1.
Caution:
Too tightly fastened hook and loop straps can impair the circulation of blood in
your foot!
