Figure 4-1 shows that the digital output is isolated by photo-coupler. The
“OUT_POWER” is
connected commonness to an output circuit. "OUT_POWER" is an external power supply or 5V PCI or
ISO 5V (DC-DC output power) inside the board, depending on the jumper setting of connector J2. The
“OUT_VDD” connects an anode of Clamp-Diode for protecting board’s circuits. Generally, it had better
use the external power 5V.
