SC-4  3 CHANNEL PROFESSIONAL MIC / LINE MIXER

This unit is designed and manufactured to mix three microphones together and send their combined signals
to stereo transformer-balanced XLR outputs. The individually switchable Phantom power and low-cut
switches provide the touches, which make the SC-4 a valuable tool for any sound reinforcement, musical,
recording, or install application.

DESCRIPTION

REAR PANEL
Mic INPUT 1 - 3: XLR balanced inputs for connection to any standard dynamic or condenser microphone.
Right and Left Outputs : Transformer balanced XLR output jacks for connection to the next device in the
signal chain such as a signal processor or amplifier.
Right and Left Trim controls : Screwdriver adjustable controls to vary the level of each output.
NOTE : These controls are set at mic level from the factory. Turning them
counter-clockwise increases the output level. These controls do not effect the
                                               Aux/Headphone Output.

FRONT PANEL
Mic Level 1 – 3 : These controls adjust the level of the corresponding Mic channel. The level varies from
infinity (off) to +60 dB of gain (typical).
PAN 1 – 3 : Adjusts the relative right/left level of each channel.
Phone/Aux : 1/4" TRS jack which may be connected to a pair of headphones for personal monitoring, or to
an unbalanced input of a signal-processor or amplifier.
Clip LED : Indicates that clipping is about to occur or occurring in the SC-4 circuitry. This LED begins to light
                 3 dB below actual circuit-clipping.
Power Switch : Applies power to the SC-4.
Located on the left side of the unit is the +12VDC power jack for connection to an op12VDC (outside
of the ring is positive) external power supply. We provide the SC-4.
Located on the right side of the unit is the battery compartment which houses two 9-Volt(alkaline preferred)
batteries.
Also on the right side are the Phantom power and Low-Cut switches.

As shown at this paper, under each number is a P indicating Phantom power, and an L which indicating
Low-Cut. When the P-switch is DOWN, the Phantom power is ON, when it is UP, the Phantom power is
OFF. When the L-switch is UP, the Low-Cut is ON, when it is DOWN, the Low-Cut is OFF.
