nstallation consists of mounting the unit on the wall, setting
the straps, and wiring the signal leads and power.
1. Remove the four screws from the front panel and separate the front
panel from the chassis.
2. Mount the chassis on the wall. Hardware is not provided for this
step.
NOTE: Refer to Fig. 2 for the location of the straps and wiring
connectors.

3. Place the 600-ohm sourcing strap and the terminating/bridging
strap in the position required by your applicaton. Refer to Table A.

4. Wire the signal leads to P1-1 and P1-2. Bring the wiring through
the hole in the bottom of the chassis.
5. Wire the power leads to TB1. Bring the wiring through the hole in
the bottom of the chassis.

Connect negative battery to the left terminal, labeled “-V”.

Connect chassis ground to the middle terminal, labeled
“TB1”.

Connect ground to the right terminal, labeled “GND”.
6. Reinstall the front panel to the chassis. This concludes the installa-
tion process.
