MENU.
1 press.
Channel number is flashing. The desired channel is selected with the channel selector push
buttons. Press Enter (6).
2 press.
SCAN flashing. Press UP or DOWN buttons (3 or 4) to start scanning the 8 channels, SCAN
icon is displayed. The unit stops when there is a signal. BUSY icon is displayed.
Press Enter (6) to disable scanning.
3 press.
DW flashing. Dual watch monitoring. Press UP or DOWN buttons (3 or 4) to step to another
channel. The channel number flashes now between the two channels. Press Enter (6) to stop DW.
4 press .
VOX flashing. (Voice controlled transmitting ). Press UP or DOWN buttons (3 or 4) to set the
sensitivity (3 levels). Press Enter (6) to store the level. VOX is displayed. VOX can only be removed
when the VOX level is at it lowest point. (No bars on the screen). When special accessories are used
the HEADSET icon is displayed.
5 press.
00 flashing. Time counter in seconds. Press UP button (3) to start counting. Press DOWN
button (4) to stop counting. Press Enter button (6) to reset the counter.
CHARGING.
Charging of rechargeable batteries is via a 2.5mm jack socket. Charging requires a 6 VDC, 100mA
adapter. (Batteries and charger not included)
When charging the transmit lamp (15) shows green colour. Charging takes between 6 and max. 14
hours.
Note: Never charge non rechargeable batteries, they could explode and cause injury and damage.
