For 24 hour mode (same set of programmes for each day of the week)

a) Press PROG (Fig 2) 3 times to show the 1

st

 pre-set time and temperature

(Event 1) (Fig.11)

b) Use + or – buttons (Fig.3) to adjust the TIME (press and hold to change in

10 min increments)

c) Use 

 or 

 buttons (Fig.8) to adjust the TEMPERATURE

d) Press PROG (Fig.2) to move to next preset time & temperature (Event 2)

e) Repeat steps b, c & d for programming Events 3, 4 5 & 6

Programming your HOT WATER

To set the hot water programme press the PROG button (Fig.2) until Event  A  (1st
ON) appears on the display (Fig.13).

b) Use + or – buttons (Fig.3) to adjust the TIME (press and hold to change in 10

minute increments)

c) Use 

 or 

 buttons (Fig.8) to adjust the TEMPERATURE

d) Press PROG (Fig.2) to move to Event b - 1st OFF

e) Repeat steps b, c & d for programming Events C & d (2nd ON & 2nd OFF)

NB. Right hand LED will be lit when the Water programme is running

Returning to RUN mode

Press PROG until the colon in the LCD display starts to flash (Fig.14)

Temporary User Overrides

The TP9 has several useful overrides which can be selected without affecting
the thermostat programming

Temporary override of programmed temperature – press

until required temperature is displayed (override will automatically cancel at
beginning of next programmed event)

+1HR = if pressed while the programme is on, the hot water will remain on

for an extra hour. If it is pressed whilst the programme is off, the hot water
will come on immediately for 1 hour then go off (Fig.15)

Frost Protection – a constant low temperature can be selected whilst away

from home - press

Summer Time / Winter Time Clock

To change from Summer to Winter (clocks back) -  press and hold - (Fig.19)

To change from Winter to Summer (clocks forward) - press and hold + (Fig.19)

Low Battery

If the unit is disconnected from the mains supply a low battery symbol will flash
in the LCD display (Fig.20). Programmes will be retained for 15 days. On the
16th day of continuous disconnection the display will show just a colon. When
powere is eventually restored your programmes will be remebered - you will
only need to reset the time and the day of the week.
