Ensure that the connections of the hard disk drive are positioned at the rear side of the
recorder.
Insert the hard disk drive completely into the 4 guidances.
Connect the designated connection cable to the hard disk drive.

Insert the cover of the housing into the guidance.
Push the cover to the front side in order to close the housing.
Ensure that cover and housing is flush.
Mount the cover with the 5 screws to the housing.
Depending on the number and the properties (capacity, new or used) of the mounted hard
disk drives, various messages and dialogues are displayed during the first start and the
initialization.
Confirm the messages if required.
Observe the instructions given in the dialogues.
Note the appropriate Configuration documentation.
Load the
Default System Parameters
as first step of the configuration.
