The SMAVIA appliance DMS 2400 (MK3) can be operated with 2 hard disks.
Proceed as described below in order to replace a defective hard disk drive.
NOTICE
No Hot-Plug or Hot-Swap!

Only replace HDDs in a service case.
➡
Use only HDDs tested and approved by Dallmeier.
Identify
All hard disks are easily accessible on the front side of the device. First, the
defective hard disk drive must be identified. There are two options available
for this purpose: on the information dialog or via the display on the front
side of the appliance.
Information Dialog
In the information dialog of the device, comprehensive information about
the current status of the hard disk drives are displayed.
