8 Installation and Commissioning

The installation and commissioning of the device may only be carried out by quali-

fied personnel.

The following tools/accessories are required for the installation of the device:

•

Drywall utility saw or jigsaw

•

M6 eye bolt

•

Torx screwdriver with hollow point (T20 H) or equivalent tool for

tamper-resistant 6-lobe security screw with pin (Torx-TR 20)

•

Ceiling hook, safety cable (steel wire rope with two loops) and carabiner

•

Phillips

•

Optional: PG16 cable gland or rubber cable grommet

WARNING

Personal injury caused by falling device or collapsing ceiling

Risk of death or serious injury to the head

Observe the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the maxi-

mum permissible carrying capacity of the supporting structure

and the suspended ceiling or ceiling panel.

For fixing the ceiling hook, use an anchor that is suitable for the

ceiling type and construction material, such as for example:

•

Plastic screw anchor for use in solid masonry materials

(concrete/brick)

•

Gravity or spring toggle anchor for use in drywall ceilings

(plasterboard)
