U•H1 Control Unit is a class I equipment. It must always be connected to ground using the protective
ground terminal in accordance with the instructions in this manual.
First connect protective ground wire using terminal 3 . Then connect the 230V mains voltage to
terminals 1 and 2; see diagram below.
2.6 CONNECTING THE SIREN
The siren
’s connection cables must meet the same requirements as those of the detector (see §
connecting the detector).
Connect the terminals + (terminal 21) and – (terminal 22) from the sounder device to the U•H1 control
unit. Respect the polarity to avoid damaging the sounder device.
To connect and adjust the tone of the alarm, refer to the sounder's instruction manual.
2.7 CONNECTING THE RELAYS
The
U•H1 control unit has a technical fault relay and 3 relays addressable by the alarms. It is possible
to connect different types of servo controls thereto such as a sounder device, a valve, a flash lamp, etc.
