Identification
Identification
shows the processor’s Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) device
name, a brief description, and the device identification number. Refer to
Figure 28:

The information in the
Device (DHCP) Name
,
Description
, and
Device ID
fields is set by
Daktronics during system installation.
The
Device ID
is used to uniquely identify the processor to Daktronics Services. If the
Device ID
character string is needed for other operations, use the
Copy to Clipboard
function to easily copy this information to the computer’s temporary clipboard.
Click the red
Change
button to change the device ID; however, changing the ID will
result in a loss of communication with any registered services.
Note:
Do not use this feature unless instructed to do so by Daktronics technicians.
Input
Input
sets the type of processor input. The operator can select a DVI video source,
choose a built-in test pattern, load images to the display, or blank the display. These
options are listed in the
Display Mode
drop-down menu:

Select
DVI
from the drop-down menu to set the display input as an incoming DVI video
signal. The processor must be connected to a video signal for the DVI display mode to
function properly.
