4. Remove the four screws retaining the factory instrument cluster. Gently remove the original
instruments and set aside.

Attach the provided 36” CAT5e Cable to the back of the VHX display. Carefully route the other
end to the control box mounting location.

WHITE\BLACK wire to CHASSIS GROUND
6. This system has two options for the included LED indicators. You can have the indicators
located in the face of your new VHX display, and/or use the
additional lights in your vehicle’s
stock locations. To use the new in-face indicators, follow the wiring instructions found in the
main VHX manual.
The optional indicator lights in the stock locations may be used by plugging the eight included
indicator harnesses into the receptacles on the lower back of the VHX system. Do not wire
these to the VHX control box:
