4. Product description
. The DAISALUX LPS system is a class I centralised power unit to provide power supply and
monitor up to 150 safety and emergency exit luminaires.
The LPS system includes:
• Battery for 0.5h, 1h, 2h 1.5h, 3h, 6h or 8 hours of emergency lighting. User configurable.
• Six output circuits designed to supply luminaires up to 4 A each. Each outlet is fitted with
a double terminal.
• Controller with 160x104 dot graphic display to display status information and USB
connection.
• Integrated historical record.
• Four dry contacts, three of them fixed according to the EN 50171 standard and the fourth
configurable by the user.
• An input for remote control.
• An analogue input 0 to 10V to regulate the brightness of one or more outputs defined as
“ beacons ”.
• Four auxiliary inputs configurable by the user.
• Optional: Ethernet or wireless connection module. By LPSLan accessory.
The luminaires are powered by a two-wire cable with 24V voltage and can be configured
with the centralised power unit control panel.
The programmable control panel has three status LEDs and a graphic display to indicate
system status. It contains keys for navigation and a front USB connection for monitoring
using a PC.
A functional test order can be run to check the operation of the system at any time. Details
of the test are saved in the internal history for future review (5957 records).
An optional module connection (LPSLan) can be used to monitor the status of the system
via an Ethernet network. This module includes a web server for system management
through a web browser (LPSWeb).
