Procedure
Warning
Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power
supplies before disassembling work.

Removing the parts of
outside panel and the
switch box according to
the “Procedure to
Remove Outside Panels”.
Compressor for R71~100
Compressor for R125~140
Check that the refrigerant is
completely discharged
before starting the
disassembling work.
Color of terminal end
R71~100LU
R125~140LU
1 of compressor fixing nuts
is outside of the partition
plate.
Caution
For R125~140LU;
It may cause catching fire on
oil to use torch flame for
disconnecting the brazed
joint before cut the pipes
with pipe cutter.

Dismount 5 screws to
remove the stop valve
mounting plate.

Disconnect the gas
piping and the liquid
piping.

To remove the terminal
cover, press the
protruded section on
both right and left sides.

Disconnect the lead
wires from the
terminals.

Remove the sound
insulation (1) and (2).

Dismount the 4 (

) nuts
fixing the compressor.

3 nuts in the case of
R125~140LU

Disconnect 2 (

) brazed
joints.

In the case of R125-
140LU;
Cut the suction and
discharge pipe with
pipe cutter before
disconnect the
brazed joints (See
“
Caution” in this
page.)

Lift and take out the
compressor.
