INTELLIGENT EYE Operation
The INTELLIGENT EYE sensor detects human movement and adjusts airflow
direction. It can be set to avoid people or to direct airflow specifically at people. If
no one is in the room for more than 20 minutes, the operation automatically
changes to energy saving operation.
CAUTION
• Do not place large objects near the INTELLIGENT EYE sensor. Also keep heating units and humidifiers
outside the sensor’s detection area. This sensor can detect undesirable objects.
• Do not hit or violently push the INTELLIGENT EYE sensor. This can lead to damage and malfunction.

• Each time the button is pressed, a different setting option appears on the LCD.
• The INTELLIGENT EYE lamp lights green.

• When the flap (horizontal blade) is swinging, selecting any of the modes above will cause
the flap (horizontal blade) to stop.
• The lamp lights when human movement is detected.

NOTE
Note on INTELLIGENT EYE operation
• INTELLIGENT EYE operation is set to blow directly on people, the air conditioner tracks you horizontally, without the air blowing directly on
you.
• When the INTELLIGENT EYE sensor detects the movement of people, it adjusts the airflow direction upward (while in COOL operation) and
downward (while in HEAT operation), by adjusing the flap. Depending on the setting, the louvres (vertical blades) will either direct airflow
directly toward or away from people.
